EVOLUTION OF KMJ

KMJ | Corbin & Company was originally founded in 1983. We have been serving Orange, San Diego and Los Angeles counties for nearly 25 years.

In 1983, Steve Corbin and Russ Wertz founded Corbin & Wertz ("C&W"). C&W was primarily a tax compliance and consulting firm until client needs created the opportunity for an audit practice. In 2002, C&W was restructured to Corbin & Company ("C&C") under the direction of Steve Corbin. Effective January 1, 2005, Kendall Merkley, Mike Faddoul and Jim Nagengast succeeded Steve as founding members of KMJ | Corbin & Company.

Since January 2005, KMJ has grown in revenues by over 50% and man power by more than 55% under the direction of Kendall, Mike and Jim. We currently have 8 partners and principals and approximately 50 staff, including approximately 25 CPAs. We have offices in Irvine and San Diego, California.
